Details StarMail is a Mail Server, which enables sharing of a single email account provided by an ISP by different users. It allows complete privacy and transparency to users. It is rich in features such as distribution lists, auto responders, aliases, auto forward, a built in dial engine, mail suppression list to prevent spanning. The administration of the mail server is done over the Web via a Java applet.

The product is targeted at SOHO segment and is very simple to use. Users of StarMail will benefit by saving substantial money as they will required to purchase one modem, one telephone line, and one Internet Service Provider (ISP) account regardless of the number of users. The mail server integrates very well with the StarTech product to add value to the user by having a complete Internet sharing solution. StarMail was totally conceived, designed and developed by IIS. StarMail runs over MS Windows NT/95/98 as a true Win32 / MFC based multithreaded application with a Java front-end and required skills such as domain knowledge of MS VC++, MS Windows NT/95/98 internals, Internetworking protocols such as SMTP, POP3, HTTP and InstallShield Professional software.
